Mille Fleur D'Uccles
Mille Fleur means thousand Flowers. D'Uccles is pronounced Dew Clay. As the name would indicate they were developed in Uccle Belgium. We picked these up because my husband thought they looked cool. We had attended the national poultry show in Knoxville TN (a birthday present for me). The breeder didn't want to travel back with them so we picked up a quad. They are sweet birds, but like most bantams their crow is a little screechy, especially when they try to compete with the Tomaru! The first little lady pictured below if a good example of the breed variety - note how even her coloration is - not too white or two black, good distribution of her "flowers"
